randoms
ok... it has been a happening week for me.
sorry for the lack of updates or slip short posts.
had to run about for 2 events which fell on saturday
and planning the others that are coming up REAL soon.
so sorry, bear a bit.
let's start with friday:
woke up early to settle some stuff with my supplier.
(previous night was at ikea, got home late... remember?)
after that, went off to sim lim tower to get some LED lights.
slept on the bus. shiok.
after walking here and there, figuring out how to use the LED light,
went to burger king to do edit some artwork so that my supplier can print it.
laptop batt was dying so walked over to national library.
library sucks pretty much.
because their connection is so darn slow.
:(
then walked over to raffles city.
wanted food but ian called.
ask me send again.
so settled down at ochacha for a cup of matcha on the rock.
erm, saw this sec sch mate of mine.
serene ain't friendly, totally ignored her even though she sat in front of me.
(ok, i didn't really notice her cause i was busy trying to send out the work.)
so when i finally smiled, she ignored me.
LOL.
after that, took mrt to bedok.
am darn tired, i slept on the train.
I MISSED STOPS!!!!
ended up in tampines instead.
took cab to office (kaki bukit)
finally arrived and saw cz and tiffy trying to meddle with the lock.
and of course, i get to hear nagging from 熊さん (read kuma-san; meaning bear)
[don't guess who i am referring to...]
so yup.
began to fix up the furnitures we got from ikea.
the clever serene managed to fix 1 table, 2 sofas, 1 chair all BY HER OWN.
*pats myself*

so after that, we went off for dinner.
it was around 11+pm!
went to bedok reservoir for dinner.
they have nice western food.
yum yums.
then cabbed back to office.
christine came over.
so sweet of her.
=)
brought psp and mp3 for us.
(ok... those are for events)
and then we continued with our furnitures, cabbed home.
moment i reached home, rush to the shower then bed.
saturday:
woke up damn early again.
got papa to bring me to office.
waited for that logistic guy to come.
daniel (landlord) dropped by.
pass me a better key for the lock.
logisitc guy came.
happened to be a gentle malay uncle.
and his assistant is a cute malay guy.
hitched a ride to smu.
started work.
more nagging from 熊さん
dave was very helpful.
got to meet larry, raymond.
tiffy and vict joined us later. (they were running RP's event)
saw familiar faces among the participants,
damien (that cute cute eye candy whom i used to do nightlife events with) and his cousin
and ting ting.
saw jensen, vincent (lfi).
the peeps from tjc (a.r.k team) and np.
and i think i did one kindness that day.
by asking and reminding vincent (tjc) to fill up the lucky draw coupon.
you know why?
because he was the winner of the lucky draw! a new psp.
=)
yeah.
proud of myself.
after event, had chilling out session with vincent (lfi), larry, ting ting and cz.
cabbed home.
sunday:
woke up not so early.
dressed prettily today.
was invited as a speaker to Touche 2008
frankly speaking, i had no idea what was it about initially.
i just know i was supposed to talk.
and when they intro us as a social enterprise, i thought it was a social entrepreneur talk.
and today was my 1st time looking at the slides cz prepared.
and as always, it was very messy, and i dunnoe what he was trying to do.
so... i smoked through it.
or rather, spoke impromptu.
and guess what?
i was the youngest among all (excluding the small boy)!
and guess what again?
i was sitting in a room among the future doctors (dentist and phD holders)
it was overwhelming.
turn out was ok.
and it's a bit weird talking to people older than me and in a crowd.
so i didn't really elaborate much in my sharing.
(to read more about it, get the book. =) will let you all know when it is out)
LOL.
Q&A was good.
though the poor sci guy got bombard alot of sci questions.
LOL.
and as usual 熊さん spoke alot.
after that, met papa and relatives.
had dinner.
went to conference hall (sco building) for chung cheng (main) high's concert band.
my little cousin is playing.
so yup.
please don't kill me huiling, but i think they play alot better than rp.
no kidd.
rpws should really improve themselves.
though ccmh standard cannot be compared to muhe's but they are still decent in playing as compared to rp.
haiz. disappointing man.
so yup.

last sunday, SUPERBAND 2008 had their 1st public performance in IMM.
told jeeyon i would go but didn't because i had to move office.
sorry about it.
but managed to catch his performance on youtube.
