fairness? not in this world
how would you feel when someone insults you and you feel unfair?
how would you feel when someone judges you unfairly?

i got insulted today.
though i took it like a pinch of salt
and bear no grudges,
i still felt hurt by the unfairness.
is it my face or is it my life is meant to be this way?
since young i have to endure harsh criticism from everywhere.
probably it's because of my background.
now i understand why my mum says
somethings even if you know, it should be left untouched or unsaid.
don't take certain comments to heart.
my mum was an iron woman.
i'm not one yet,
but i'm on my route to being one.
having no feelings is better than having feelings.
at least you won't get hurt.
like an ugly situation this morning,
at least you can take comments like a pinch of salt.
